URGENT NEED!!!! Calling all Mission Groups-Team Churches-Christians

I have been contacted by the City Parks and Recreation and the city HUD Department located in Jacksonville Florida, and asked if there was any way I could have our mission teams go to 25 challenged communities (they have over 50 others-but they have 25 now).

These are at risk communities with nothing going on in their communities except problems. Just kids hanging out – looking at getting into trouble. They asked if we could bring our free camp program and sports outreach to their centers.

The chairwoman made a huge statement that I will never forget. “The devil has no problem working and reaching and mobilizing workers to go to these neighborhoods, but the church and Christians are busy in the house or the huddle instead of being in the game.” This has moved me to write this letter asking you to consider coming to the Jacksonville.

It does not matter the size of your group-we can put your team to work. I just got off the phone with a small church from tenn and they said we have never done anything like this before—I said good you can learn. It is not hard Just bring love for kids and families. Let me help your church or team help others!

I still need groups for your spring break.
I need some senior citizen trips (especially designed 3 day trips).
I need summer teams.
I know the reasons you could give and why you could say you can’t come.
Don’t have time to plan
Money & Cost
Don’t know if people will come from our church
We have a group from our church going overseas
We have the answer to all of these reasons why not to come—we have reasons why you should come here.
Very little planning we try to have where you just come
From $40.00 to $200.00 very affordable that’s food and housing
You come others will follow start with a few they will bring others. Trust
The great commission is for every believer (that’s why we have 1 day 3 day 5 day) every one can come
